FSX freezes mid flight

Featured Replies

 Jim,

Can you make sense of this WhatIsHang report, or do you need the entire thing. The program froze about 10 minutes after takeoff. I had AS2012, FSinn, VATSIM, Ultimate Terrain X, and I was using the PMDG 777.  When it froze, I had frame rates averaging about 50FPS, the virtual size limit was a little over 2 gigs, and the CPU and GPU were working well below 60% of capacity.  I also have a large liquid cooling system, so the CPU temp wasn't a factor. Two days ago, I did a flight that lasted 11+ hours with no problems. Go figure.

Thanks.

Jim,

Here's a WhatIsHang report from a freeze I just had. It happened about 10 minutes into the flight. I was running AS2012, FSinn, Vatsim, Vattastic and Ultimate Terrain X, as I always do.. I had frame rates of about 50fps, the VAS was running about 21/2 gigs which is well below the virtual size limit of 4 gigs. The CPU and GPU loads were below 50%. I have a Corsair 100 liquid cooling system, so CPU temp shouldn't have been a factor.

I completed an 11+ hour flight, 2 days ago with no freezes. Anyway, if you have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks!

I've had fps over 100 and have had apphangs.  I found out it was all of my MegaScenery Earth stuff bringing my system down.  I cannot decipher this report.
