September 7, 201312 yr I do not hear RAAS announcements when i approach a runway. I have tried the suggestions in the introductory manual. I made sure there was a runways.csv file in my root directory and I also downloaded and ran the Makerwys application but still there's silence when I expect t o hear a RAAS announcement. Any suggestions from you guys would be appreciated. Nanjul J. Dakat
September 8, 201312 yr Which livery? Have you checked that RAAS is enabled for that specific aircraft? If yes, make sure your sound is properly configured, FS may be sending some sound to speakers that Windows think exist, but actually do not. Steve Caffey
September 8, 201312 yr Commercial Member Please read the RAAS manual here, especially the trouble shooting section. Run the audio test. http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=raas_professional Also, run the PMDG OPS Center, and ensure that your Livery has RAAS enabled. Not all airlines use RAAS, and RAAS may accordingly be disabled in the PMDG Livery Options settings. Make sure it's enabled. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

I Double posted this topic by accident and only just found out there were replies here too. I made sure I was using liveries with RAAS enabled. Double checked at the Ops center and in the CDU options. I'll check out the RAAS manual as suggested. Nanjul J. Dakat

There's a LOG function in RAAS so you can see if RAAS is functioning properly. There's also a sound test button. Please see the FS2Crew support forum if you require further assistance.
