FSX Freezing

Featured Replies

Hi wonder if you can help

I get about 3-4 hours into a flight and the FSX freezes then I have to end the flight and start from scratuch, I'm using FSX but I have the unregistered version of FSUIPC for fs9 not sure if that'll cause problems not sure if I need the FSX version given i have an unregistered version.

wonder if anyone has found a solution other than a total autopsy on the system, seems like one problem after another with FSX.

I just have about 7 airport add-ons  I'm not getting fatal error messages, only freezing  I see this topic has been well troden but most people didn't seem to resolve the issue after complete uninstalls/reinstalls etc; so prior to that would be greatful for some expert advice

                               Thank You

                               Richard

That was easy Zeljko!  If the OP continues to receive crashes/freezes/whatever, you should post the latest crash report here from AppCrashView - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html

So, the only HDD is your 120GB SSD?  That could be the issue.  Seven addon airports shouldn't take up too much space though.

Best regards,

Jim

You got me!

I didn't wanted to post all my recommendations like before, just wanted to wait and see if right version of FSUIPC will fix the issue

Zeljko Budovic

  I've seen you in action in the past and I found that I have to be quick on the draw if I want to participate. Hopefully you did provide the right fix!

Best regards,

Jim
