September 8, 201312 yr Author Do you have Highmemfix=1 in your fsx.cfg? If not, do a quick search here and you'll find why and how. Alright I got to it. No I do not have that. Do I need it?

September 8, 201312 yr Author Currently have disk 1 in repairing files. I clicked SP1 and it said i need to instal FSX SDK which i did not find, so it said put in disk 1. Hoping this will do the trick
September 8, 201312 yr Author I did take the long way. I had to install MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (Microsoft XML Core Services). Then I had to uninstall and re-install SP2. Thank you all for the help!! Looking forward to doing the first flight tommorow after work. Thanks, Nate

April 29, 201412 yr This is sometimes caused by a corrupt FSX SP2 installation. Try uninstalling and the re-installing SP2 for FSX. No offence meant, but why would you recommend reinstalling FSX when he just can't find (as in, it's there, he just can't find it) a certain folder? Uninstalling and reinstalling stuff VERY often gives more problems than solutions. If you had read the intro manual, it would have told you about this. Bingo! I still don't get why people go out, buy a 90$ study sim, only NOT to read the included manuals. I'm not saying they have to read through the entire FCOM, but reading the introduction manual at the very least seems only logical to me. Name available upon request

It's an entertainment product and if someone wants to use it to simply fly a graphically good and stable 777 in FSX there is no real alternative. James Bennett
April 29, 201412 yr I can only hope people don't spend 90$ for a pretty exterior model. (I know, hyperbole, but still...) Name available upon request
