777 invisible

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I just bought the PMDG 777 and went into FSX to find the T7 is invisible. I cannot see the livery, wings, tail or anything. When I am in outside view of aircraft all I can see is the passengers seats. Does someone know how to fix this?

Do you have Highmemfix=1 in your fsx.cfg? If not, do a quick search here and you'll find why and how.

if you have Highmemfix, try to move your eyepoint and to run Ezdok config utility if you use Ezdok camera

I just looked in my FSX folder and cannot find fsx.cfg. Uhhh

It's not located in FSX-folder, search your /user/app data/roaming/microsoft/fsx-folder

Where is that located?

the easiest way to find folder for fsx.cfg file, is to open my computer or any folder and type %appdata% and hit enter in the address bar. No more searching because the folder is hidden my default

when you type %appdata% the appdata folder should open up with a couple more folder. The one you want is microsoft>fsx. Thats where you will find fsx.cfg

If you are running Windows 7, you will have created a User Name to login when you first fire up the computer. Now using that User Name as a reference, go to My Computer, open up your C:\\ drive be it an SSD or a HDD, scroil down till you see Users. Look in that folder and you will find your name/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Fsx-folder

In the folder there is nothing names AppData

This is sometimes caused by a corrupt FSX SP2 installation. Try uninstalling and the re-installing SP2 for FSX.
