Hello everyone.

 

I have studied the 777's FCOM, and noticed an option "GE Engines with CON IGN position", meaning that there should be an option for a continuous ignition position on the engine START switches, which would be called START/IGNITION switches. My question: why isn't this included in the PMDG 777?

Because it was modeled with one of the different options (that will be listed immediately above or below that entry).

 

Trying to model every single option would be rather time-intensive, particularly because it's not as simple as something like NO SMOKING to NO ELECTRONICS.
