September 15, 201312 yr Some of you may know that I have been a very staunch supporter of 2D panels. My main two reasons for avoiding using the VC was the performance hit as well as what I perceived a lack of attractive texturing for VCs. Getting nauseated moving around the VC did not help either. I have been lucky enough to be able to buy a new PC with a 4th generation CPU (i4770K) that I now run stably at 4.5GHz. At the same time the new T7 was released. Now there - finally - was an attractive VC that could compete (and beat) the best 2D panels ever made. Since I find using the VC a tad nauseating I used Live Camera Views from Opus to set fixed views. I made them instant switchable - so there is no panning between views. They now effectively behave exactly like 2D panels. I am now ready to give VC a prime spot in my FSX experience. Long time coming. Goodbye 2D - you have been a good friend over the last 10+ years. I realize this is nothing really new. Having said that, here is my latest FSX office....hope you enjoy.... Thanks for looking
