glideslope issue

Featured Replies

I was on glideslope into KSFO.  Everything was going smooth with approach mode engaged.  I got the land 3 displayed on my PFD showing flare and roll out.  I was approaching mins and all of a sudden I get the don't sink and the plane decides to dive.  I had to disengage a/p and manually pull and and do a go around.  I decided to hand fly the approach instead and landed fine but what happened with the auto land?  Anybody else have this issue?

I've only done two autolands, and both were fine.

Do you have add-on scenry at KSFO or is it stock? What was the weather doing at that moment?

Best regards,

Robin.

Had a similar issue at yssy default airport. All going well, then it took a dive, engines spooled up, went over flap extension speed, had to disengage everything and take manual control.

I have FlightBeams KSFO installed.  There was only a slight 5 knot wind at my tail when I was about to land.  I would like to use the autoland if possible but maybe I am going to just have to manually land it.  I have a flight going from Croatia to KJFK and don't want to risk the 17 hour flight to a crash just before the runway.
