Hi, I need some help please, sorry for my bad English.Sadly ,after 3 years of use ,my fabolous EZCA don't work anymore. I tried everything, but also after 3 reinstallations EZCA are KO. .without EZCA FSX is unusable. Since about 2 weeks,during my flights I notice a slowdown and a loss of smoothness during panning until the loss off control by assigned keyboard and joystick buttons. I notice also EZCA disapear from fsx addons menu after some minutes. It's seems some conflict with other software or some fsx files corruptions. .My suspicious are on :
1) Antivirus or firewall. G-Data internet security2014. I updated from 2013 version in August.
2) Rex Essential Plus. I installed the rex SP2 in September.
3) Something related to simconnect . EZCA is running but disappear from fsx addon menu after some minutes.

4) I recently installed a second 2 Tb HD for data "F",and copy the "D" file on it,includes all downloaded fsx file( also flight one wrapper "red planes icon")

Now i uninstalled EZCA and every things seems to work fine, but I like it and i want reinstall soon.

Just to be sure, and to avoid other conflicts, exclude from antivirus scanning - FSX main folder, C:\Users\"YourUsername"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX and "C:\Users\"YourUsername"\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files"

 

 - Download CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner and clean history and registry.

 - restart PC

 - install Ezdok and configure it

 - go to "C:\Users\"YourUsername"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX" and find "exe.xml"

 - ensure that you have EZCA entries, should look like this:

<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">

  <Descr>Launch</Descr>

  <Filename>dll.xml</Filename>

  <Disabled>False</Disabled>

If you need to add Ezca manually, use Notepad++ http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

What OS do you use?  Do you have Flight 1 planes like the T182T, Mustang.  I experienced something similar that after installing these planes EZCA works but the planes do not.  Then upon uninstalling the Flight 1 planes EZCA stop working altogether.  I would suggest the following:  uninstall EZCA delete the folder, find its entries in fsx.cfg and exe.xml and delete them.  Re-install.  See if it works.

Can I delete the exe.xml? Does fsx recreate a new when restarted like fsx.cfg?

Also, if you are using FSUIPC, upgrade to the latest iteration (4.92).  This solved my EZCA problem after I installed the Trip7.

Hi! So, I delete every ezca file in my PC, turned off my antivirus, setting antivirus exception to all fsx and Rex files and folders, execute the original F1 wrapper in D drive (not the F drive copy one) and reinstall  and configure Ezca 1.15.
I started fsx whithout Rex Wheather engine and use the default 172... Ezca is working...
try some flight it's all ok.
Then I updated to 1.16... and it's working....
Retry then with rex weather engine and carenado c185 and it's OK.
Now when i have time I will test the last plane i used before ezca crash, the Freeware C117 (Super DC3).
So, from my previous failed attemps I chenged some things:
I use the original "RED plane Icon" In D drive.
When configure ezca I don't use the .dll validation in the configurator menu.
Add more exception in my Antivirus.
