Hi

 

I have the PMDG777 for about a week and a half and have done a few flights starting all ready set up. But now

I have started to do cold and dark, I get everything done from the FCOM, the engines are running but when I

advance the throttle, the indicator on the N1 goes up but nothing happens? The indicator "doos auto/manual"

on the display screen goes out when I advance teh throttle and comes back on when I bring the throttle to idle?

 

Please help, I have done everything perfect in terms of flows and checks, I even copied youtube videos but my

throttle has no impact on the engines? I use a throttle quad but when I use the keys F3 or F4, the throttle moves

but nothing happens?

Make sure

1) Brakes are off (silly,but it happens)

2) In the FMC,click on the Pushback menu and ensure that the chocks are off.

Also, check your tyres aren't burst for whatever reason.

Enter the GEAR synoptic to check tyre pressures.

Do not use Cold n Dark panel state. I use the Short and it seams to work. For me anyway. There are some problems with the C & D state.

I had strange things going on when I used C&D state

 

Try some of the other.

 

Otherwise something is wrong with your setup.

Two words: Wheel Chocks.

PMDG makes VERY powerful wheel chocks.

Can you pushback with chocks in place????

 

It seems the OP is starting on the runway.

Regardless whether the op is  starting  from the  rwy or  stand  doesn't alter his issue, being  the  brakes are on or  chooks  are still in place, as posted by Jude in the above post
