September 21, 201312 yr I have both Kentucky and Ohio. While flying regardless of altitude, there are areas that are brownish, light green and dark green. The borders are straight. I can see them at a distance and while flying over them. I changed the autogen settings, but that did not help.

You can turn off Autogen for MSE sceneries and save a lot of FPS. MegaSceneryX SoCal has Autogen though. They are several imperfections with most of the MSE V2 photosceneries. It's only as good as the aerial scenery used to develop this product. Some anomalies are being fixed by the developer. I haven't heard anything regarding Kentucky or Ohio though. The MSE developers visit this the photoscenery forum often and maybe they will take a look at your issue. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! September 25, 201312 yr have both Kentucky and Ohio. While flying regardless of altitude, there are areas that are brownish, light green and dark green. The borders are straight. these are different photos, the 'borders are where they're stitched together. The only way PCAviator can get photscenery on their time table is to use multiple sources, different camera types, contrast/saturation settings of cameras, and different times of day & weather conditions cause some images to be discolored. Brownish: likely those areas were during summer drought Light Green: likely bleached by haze or overexposure. Dark Green: (assuming unrealistically dark) photos likely taken early morning/late evening. I can see them at a distance and while flying over them. I changed the autogen settings, but that did not help. it's the photo itself, autogen does nothing and MSE doesn't make use of autogen by default for performance reasons.
September 25, 201312 yr it's the photo itself, autogen does nothing and MSE doesn't make use of autogen by default for performance reasons. Pretty sure that is not the main reason, LOL. Just typical marketing speech for we did not want to invest the time to add it as it does take some time to add autogen. users can always turn off autogen if they want better performance.
