High Altitude airport Ops

Featured Replies

Hello everybody.

I just want to ask if somebody already does some high altitude airport flights like MMMX-ZSPD OR HAAB-LIRF (maybe direct KIAD without the stop over in Rome?) and how behaves the T7 with high payloads?

Thank´s!

As long as you're flying GE engines you'll be fine.

With RR, make sure both your engines make noise on take off :D

Quito should be interesting in summer.

Well I'll have to wait until the 200ER came out to test does RR on high lands!!!

Bolivia is just a few feet below maximum altitide for aircraft of 8500 ft, I flew in and out of there during testing and she performed as expected. What I found interesting is that the cabin altitude descends in the climb out. LOL

8500 ft? SLLP is at 13325 ft AMSL.

FCOM page L.10.1 (Limitations) maximum takeoff and landing altitude is 8400 ft pressure altitude (my error).

You mean the cabin altitude limit?

There are some modifications in modern aircraft to operate on high altitude airports (above 10000 ft i think) to avoid the oxygen mask deployment during landing.
