Manuals for 777 in PDF without buying the plane

Featured Replies

I was wondering if PMDG plans on putting the manuals on their site to be downloaded in PDF format without having to buy the plane.  I've been drooling over this bird for several weeks, but 90 dollars is a lot to spend.  I am wanting to know how much studying I would have to do.  Going to the beach tomorrow, the manual might be an interesting read on the plane from Atlanta to Ft. Myers.

Thanks,

I don't think they make these available.  The reason is that they are essentially the real Boeing manuals so there is probably a licensing fee that gets paid to Boeing with each sale or at least an agreement that they are not freely distributed.  I just did a quick Google search and there are some older real manuals available in Scribd.  You could give that a try.

Actually publishing the (non-Boeing) intro doc and the tutorial(s) could help selling a few copies more of this bird.

The other side of the story is you have the vids and the forums.

interesting point care to elaborate how ?

They have stated previously that the manuals will NOT be available seperately (without purchase) due to licensing agreements.

Best regards,

Robin.

Thanks for the info. Licensing agreements? Wonder if Its Boeing thinking they might have something to loose.
