Packed passenger plane was left flying on autopilot after BOTH pilots fell asleep in the cockpit!

What is more importante, the more Money I would get from my Airline and or just not getting fired and having good Money to spent for Luxus and a big house and big car etc. or the responseability I got for the passengers safety? Endangering the safety? I would not do so, rather getting fired and starting a court case against too many hours of work!

I think you right in principle of course but you seem to misunderstand the financial situation of pilots today.

Most airlines don't pay for their pilot's training, you have to pay yourself. So you usually start your flying career with debt up to high 5 figure EURO sums.

Junior pilots then often pay-to-fly to build up flying hours.

Once they are more senior, they often end up in schemes where they get paid by flying hours, not a fixed salary!

So they need to fly as often as they can to pay off their debts.

Being fired and black-listed in the industry is not the difference between driving your old car a bit longer or having additional cash to spare for the "luxus" of a large car.

It is the differnece between earning a living (barely) and being ruined...

The business risk of running an airline is passed down to employees ...
