October 13, 201312 yr So, this is interesting: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2885482 Recently released from MS. Perhaps the one programmer who's been assigned to working on this for seven years finally figured it out? Dare we hope?
October 13, 201312 yr Let's hope they fix it for Win7 as well... Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
October 13, 201312 yr There are not likely any issues with the Windows 7, SP1 version of UIAutomationcore.dll, v6.1.7600.16385. We have an issue because FSX is only compatible with version 6.0.5840.16386, and you can download that one from here, and place it in your FSX root folder, renaming it to it's original name. Problems gone. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.

October 13, 201312 yr Would this help us from joysticks being disconnected from FSX in W8? Menno i7-11700, 16GB, 1 TB SSD, 2 TB HDD, RTX 3070, Windows 11, MSFS 2020 DeLuxe, P3D 4.5
October 13, 201312 yr Author No idea -- just noticed this as an optional update today. Does it do anything? Can't really say yet. Will have to see whether it affects the PMDG 777 at all, which is the add-on I most suspect on my system might have issues with default uiautomationcore.dll. If it fixed the joystick issue....joy.
