October 24, 201312 yr I have had no luck in removing those "creatures" in the copilot seat of some of the downloaded freeware aircraft over the years. Not sure what the developers were on at the time, but I guess free is free and you get what you pay for. To pay for such an intentional mishandling of customer base wish-list (as in "I wish for a pilot that resembles a human form") is up to the buyer - is hiding him/her realistic? No. Is it a showstopper? Again, no. It is what it is. I have a freeware RV-7 that suits me just fine for now - I looked at this Baytower model to purchase just recently and decided that my $40 is going to have to go toward a future purchase of the PMDG 737 NGX instead. (My FS money is very tight these days - talking to the "boss" and promising her things doesn't work anymore). "what the developers were on at the time", "intentional mishandling of customer base" I just love it when one person thinks hey know what I or others want. i seriously wish more aircraft had the "option" for a good looking human mesh in the copilot seat in the VC. I have a few aircraft and cars i have made for myself and placed my own "company" in the passenger seats since developers seem to listen to users like yourself more than me. Glad I never re.leased any of my aircraft or I might really take offense at this post. Best, Michael KDFW
October 26, 201312 yr @1Mikel151 and anyone else who was offended by this thread: Please accept my apology. My less than important contribution to the thread was not intended to offend anyone. My opinion is that I wish there was a choice in the pilot character. I should have left it at that. Throughout life from here on in, I am trying to change what I say, when I say it, and how I say it. This is a good example of my alligator mouth overloading my hummingbird a$$. FSX is only a hobby for me. I am dealing with complex issues in real life so I turn to FSX to escape. But I need to start thinking this way in ALL aspects of my life so I rest assured that I am doing all that is within my power to improve things. dolph out.
