October 29, 201312 yr I was sitting at my computer and then I saw a flightbeam ad on the top of the AVSIM webpage. The ad featured KSFO, KPHX, and KIAD but then said KDEN coming soon. IS this true or is this outdated advertising? And did I do anything wrong posting this...? Regards, Jeremy Chesney
October 29, 201312 yr Yes there is truth to this. No you did not do anything wrong. Am I supposed to put my overly priced and powered computer specs here? Sorry, I must have no tolerance for idiots who do that. So when's the PMDG 777x gonna' be released? Sorry you got your hopes up..But hey..Look on the bright side...It's not for FSX.. -Sincerely, Shawn O.
October 29, 201312 yr Moderator Yep, KDEN is in production as well as a KSFO update/remake. They also have a secret airport in production for Europe that I think is EHAM. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
October 29, 201312 yr Author Alright - it's just that on their website I found no trace of Denver whatsoever. Thanks Regards, Jeremy Chesney
October 29, 201312 yr They are doing KDEN. Most up to date info on FlightBeam projects can be found on their facebook page. Mitchell Haughee

October 29, 201312 yr Yep, it's KDEN and it's already in my checkout bucket in the future! I want to see them tackle KATL, the busiest airport in the world and get good FPS. October 29, 201312 yr I wonder if Flightbeam will ever branch out to the rest of the world a la FlyTampa, or whether they'll always just always reel out the US fields. Sure your 'Merican boys will be happy either way lol! ... but us Old Worlders would love to see their talents applied to the rest of the world.
October 29, 201312 yr No, Flightbeam can go ahead and make 'Merican airports for life because it feels like a majority of the payware airports out there are overseas from us US boys. The really good companies have VERY few US airports to choose from that aren't little dirt strips in the middle of no where. People like ORBX and Aerosoft seem to focus primarily on other theaters of operation which makes me a sad panda. As a flyer for Southwest Virtual, I need more US major airports in my life! I agree, there is so much European content to choose from, especially from Aerosoft. At least FSDT and Flightbeam seem to be more commited to US airports which makes me happy since they are two of my favorite devs. The only problem is the time it takes for them to knock them out, but at least they've covered most of the important large US hubs.
