November 11, 201312 yr Hi, After landing I can see smoke below the fuselage, it's coming from between the main gears (see attached image). I did not strike the tail during landing, touchdown was rather soft than hard. I took this image with Aerosoft's Dusseldorf add-on, but the same issue happened to me the other day with the default scenery of Beijing. Does anybody know where the smoke comes from? And how do I get rid of it? Thanks, Thomas Thomas Karsten
November 11, 201312 yr This is the FSX Rain/Snow Effect and a well known bug. Once you fly through rain or snow, it will stick to your plane. Nothing you can do about it besides disabling the whole effect. Regards, Chris Volle i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.

November 11, 201312 yr Author Cool, thanks. However, there was neither rain nor snow during the landing, where does it come from then? Can the effect even start when flying through clouds? Thomas Karsten
November 12, 201312 yr Cool, thanks. However, there was neither rain nor snow during the landing, where does it come from then? Can the effect even start when flying through clouds? What about when you took off? It can start at the departure airport and stay with you forever. Steve Caffey
November 16, 201312 yr Author Might be a possibility, I don't remember exactly the weather conditions. At least I know now that it's a common issue. Thomas Karsten
