November 20, 201312 yr Morning, 1. Assuming the servers support the rush of buyers, this will be a 30GB download? If that is the case, is there a good download manager that the forum recommends? Even better, a free one? 2. If I simply want to ensure that I have the same options, capabilities, and features I presently enjoy in FSX, do I need to purchase the Professional Version of Prepar3D? I typically use complex aircraft under realistic conditons, weather and ATC environments. This is NOT a EULA question, but a capabilities-based question. If this is not a permissible quesiton, please just ignore. I searched the forums but surprisingly couldnt find a respectable answer. Thanks for any feedback, looks like a product to get excited about. Stephen

The only difference is that the "Academic" version has a very tiny, nearly invisible watermark in the upper right corner. Functionally they are identical. Fr. November 20, 201312 yr <snip> is there a good download manager that the forum recommends? Even better, a free one? Hello There are several free download managers for different explorers. I use Firefox with the Free DownThemAll! 2.0.16 add-on. With parallel/segmented connections It is super fast, supports pause, resume, concurrent dls, etc. Cheers. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
November 20, 201312 yr Hi, I use Internet Download Manager or otherwise known as IDM. I've used it for years, they have updates from time to time and it's always proved to be excellent. Phil Murfin
