My take on voice activated checklists

Featured Replies

I've uploaded a new version which I've called 0.6 to:

https://github.com/joevenzon/voice-activated-checklists/releases

This release has:

  • Slightly improved error handling.
  • Removed "Thanks/Thank you" from grammar because I kept triggering it by coughing (sorry Paul)
  • New feature: Procedures. Procedures are sets of steps which the application will execute for you in order, like a co-pilot would.
  • Support for FSUIPC connection to fsx/p3d for procedure execution.
  • Initial work on a 737NGX checklist and procedure with FSUIPC variables for the PMDG 737.

So far the only prodecures I've got done on the 737 are the supplemental electrical power-up procedure and the co-pilot's preflight procedure.

Hi all,

I have just seen this nice tool, and it seems it's the one I was looking for some time already :)

I installed version 0.6 and tried it out on Windows 10 and with P3Dv4.5. It looks as if it's not working with FSUIPC 5 as under "Connection" it says "FSUIPC connection: unititalized". Also I am getting run time errors as soon as a speech command has been detected, complaining something with regards to FSUIPC as well. I tried on remote PC with WideClient and also on P3D PC directly with FSUIPC 5 up and running, but both without success.

Maybe anyone has tried with FSUIPC 5 and can report experiences? It the project still alive? It would be a pity if not.

Thanks

Stefan

The program was for FSX and may not be compatible with the latest version of P3D!

Hi All,

I found this Sim voice checklist v0.6  tool as well . Well it looks nice and handy because if it works you can edit the checklist.  Some where there was a explanation that it does not need FSX to run for it to work.

My problem is that it crashes every time. I tried it on 3 different PC( win 7 and win10) with or without FSX i do have a fsuipc registerd version.

my speech recon is working. I do use it for other programs. The language is set for eng us( PC i= Eng US ).

The error says something about ( could not load file or assembly FSUIPCclient version = 2.4.0.0

. I hope some one has a clue about what is wrong and how to get it working.

thnx, henri
