I just came across this, and I'm in the midst of setting it up. I've watched the videos from this thread and found them highly informative. I do have a question however. Since I don't (yet) have any wav files for the DC3 (my aircraft of choice) how do I setup VAC to use "Anna" instead of the wav folders? I tried clearing it and hitting the apply button, but that reverts it back to the default folder.

shouldnt have to do anything I think. If VAC cannot find a wav file titled the same as any voice prompt in the specified directory, it will default to whatever voice is set in your windows install :)

I wasn't sure if it was going to mess something up if it had an incorrect value in there. So thank you.

 

I've finally finished putting the DC3 checklist together. My lovely wife will start recording wav files.. (almost 200 of them). I have noticed that if there's any error in the xml file (like, missing a = sign), VAC crashes instead of giving an error message. Very minor, but I couldn't figure out why it was crashing until I checked the debug information which showed me the line/column number.

 

If anyone is familiar with the DC3, do you want to have a look at the checklists below and see if I missed anything?

Hi Paul,

 

Fantastic piece of software. I am using it in my 737 cockpit.

Is it possible to move the current checklist window?

Maybe bring it to bottom right where it would be less 'obtrusive' from my personal perspective?
