Triple monitor

Featured Replies

I got a nvidia surround setup supported by two gtx 580 1,5gb gpu`s. I know that p3d is not supporting sli at this point, but still.. i am getting very poor performance whit a average of 10 - 20 fps whit all the eye candy either off or way down. Btw my cpu is running @ 4,6 ghz whit HT off. Anyone out there who have a good stable stutter free experience whit triple monitors? I am in that case curios to hear what hardware and in game settings you are using. I was hoping to take advantage of 3D vision to, but that is unfortunately not working at all.

If it ain't broke, i fix it until it is...

Why not try using the 3 displays on a single card. I don't P3d but I do use Eyefinity in FSX with two displays on my HD 7750. Maybe that could solve the problem.

I have a very similar setup, 570's in SLI, cpu running at 4.5. I can get around 25fps with everything on medium without shadows, about 18fps with.

I have three screens connected to the same GeForce 780, and I use them by dragging the window to fill the three screens (ie not using Nvidia surround). My experience is that this significantly reduces frame rate, and some extra mentation shows that one of the screens drops the frame rate more than the others. I have not figured out why this is yet, but for now I am content running on a single monitor to get the performance I want.

I have GTX670 SLI with Nvidia Surround and with my preliminary testing I seem to get quite good results using pretty high settings. I need to fiddle more when I have time but performance looks quite okay and I have no problems setting the sim to 30fps ball park. Shadows (surprise, surprise) seem to have most impact from the slider. At this point, I'm also using the textures at 2048 to make sure I don't hog my VRAM while fiddling with the settings.

With 500-series one has to use SLI to get more than two monitors attached, so there is no way using surround with one GPU for OP.

The big question, has outside monitor stretching been cured?
