    It doesnt work for me, I assume that EZDOK is still required for TIR to work in p3dV2?

 

    I am surprised, given the new FSX users trying p3d, that it's not been mentioned.  Which makes me wonder if only I have an issue?

OK, I did find out that a couple people said they were using TIR without EZDOK.

 

   In my case it worked when upgrading from TIR V5.1 software to V5.2.

TIR works for me out of the box. P3D got Support during 1.4 release.

Track IR works out of the box. Make sure your TIR software and games list is up to date.

 

It's the people with EZDOK that have problems, as EZDOK intercepts trackir and moves the sim camera by itself.

Thanks all, my TIR software was out of date.   I had 1.3 but never used 1.4 so I wasnt sure if p3d still didnt support it or if it was just me.

I can confrim it as well. TrackIR works out of the box.

TIR definitely works at default settings with no third-party software required.

TIR working standalone.......... and also via OpusFSX control.

 

TIP:  If you've been using TrackIR with FSX, via EZDOK or Opus, and are now trying it on it's own in P3D, remember that you will need to rename your Simmconnect.manifest and SimconnectSP2.manifest files back to their original names, in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5 folder!   :wink:
