December 19, 200421 yr Downloaded Mike Stone's excellent Saab 340 and went looking for a panel.I remembered Igor Supronov's freeware panel for FS2002, and it works very well in Fs2004. File is scdss340.zip.OK, so there's no FMC on the freeware version of the panel, but all in all a rather nice combination.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/101036.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/101038.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/101040.jpg John

December 19, 200421 yr Hi, I like the looks of Igor's panel but I can't find it anywhere to download. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks.Jim
December 19, 200421 yr Author Was that panel ever finished? On the original site for the aircraft (Premiere something, not the current group) that panel was there as an unfinished beta and was to become payware. I never found a completed version from Igor. I found some others, made a hybrid of his, others, and some payware gauges to get a little closer to the description written up in the profile of REX airlines in the Jan. and Feb. 2003 issues of computer pilot.I looked at some panel photos on airliners.net also. The REX article did state that the PNF did brief the FMS prior to arrival so I suppose some were retrofitted. The article does show a pix with the plan with waypoints displayed and not on a GPS.Reality-XP has announced a future FMS product for retrofitting that might be similar to the type used in the Saab. On the panel I fabricated I used their JL2 payware putiing in their EADI and EHSI (which includes TCAS). I also "installed" the included RTU comm/nav/EHSI mode control to avoid using a pop-up to get up the comm/nav stack. I took a liberty and used their small real-estate GPS Apollo 50 from the FLA product suite and also installed their WX500 weather radar. All the layout was done in FS Panel Studio. This way I get around without pop-ups blocking any instruments. I only bring up the throttle quad when setting idle condition and checking throttle and prop control function, and for the fuel cut-off when parking. I did put a flaps guage on the panel so I could see the deployment state. There is a commercial 340b in development that will have a full overhead and FMS. For now, I've got the functionality I require with just a few "cheats" on the look to fit it all in.
