Irresponsible developer - AMS

Featured Replies

Okay, this is another irresponsible developer.

AMS, which stands for Aviation Multimedia Studio, produced a Cancun International Airport FSX scenery back in summer 2012. http://www.aviationms.com

Now, they just quit the business without a single word of notice. Their support forum is unattended, support email no reply, and they even pulled their product off simMarket.

The worst thing is, they have an online activation, which no longer works! It's my fourth computer since purchasing that addon, so maybe that's the reason the activation does not work.

simMarket people does not provide help for that because it's the developer's own activation system.

So, what can I do to get the product work?

Thanks,

Ya just checked it out as you said, they have gone offline completely.

You would think that if they were going out of business, then they would just make their software available for free, and be done with it.

that is quite incredible really. Hope we're misunderstanding something or it is a temporary blackout, otherwise it's one for the record books.

This developer has gone MIA. I don't remember how it was activated before but are you saying if I have to reinstall I am hosed?

Actually, they have been MIA for a while but I don't know when Simmarket pulled the product.

Yes, the installer is completely locked.

Support questions on their forum have been all unanswered since 2012.

Well, it's okay if they continue the payware. They just need to get rid of the online activation.
