Would 2 x GTX 470 in SLI improve performance?

HI All,

 

I have a GTX 470 and as thery're relatively cheap was thinking of adding a second and SLI them together. Would this improve performance?

SLI presently isn't supported.

I don't think so to be honest. I would invest in a 680 or higher if you want to be satisfied. But that's just my view.

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

Not sure the 400 series is Direct X 11 capable. You might want to check.
