"Please Reinstall Prepar3D" Error

Featured Replies

Anyone else had this happen? I checked and all my files are in their correct folders, but this error pops up every time I run the sim - if anyone has had this before or has advice, that'd be appreciated! Thanks! -Sam

I had this issue and had to do a full reinstall but LM are aware. I dont suppose you have installed a CaptainSim aircraft. Seen a few reports of their products causing this issue? If so, there is a hotfix for it.

Yes I would also like to know if you installed a Captain Sim Aircraft.  I had this error, a "repair option" won't fix it.  I had to do a complete re-install.

Thanks you guys, it was the Captain Sim 707 that started this error - my sim is running smoothly again!

I'm using the estonia migration tool and they have an update that completely fixes the issue, so there was no reinstall needed - Here is a link to the fix I used: http://board.flights...upt-prepar3d-v2

Glad it's sorted. Thought it might be CaptainSim.

Thanks for the head's up it was the 707 that got me too; heading to get the migration tool update now.
