December 6, 201312 yr PMDG, A few of us seem to have encountered a problem tyring to connect to FSInn within FSX when flying the 737NGX and 777. See here for more details: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/421555-pmdg-777-fsinn/. This does not appear to affect all PMDG/FSInn users so an exact solution does not seem possible nor am I asking for one. As a workaround, many users simply have loaded a default FSX aircraft, connected to FSInn and then loaded the PMDG 737NGX or the 777. Your manuals say this is a no-no, therefore I was just wondering what, if anything may be affected (is there a performance hit, are the systems affected, etc...) if this work around is used? Thanks, James Sorry everyone, I have no idea why this posted 4 times.
December 6, 201312 yr Personally I have this problem with fsinn, but loading the default Cessna before the 777 doesn't cause any problems for me. Bryan Richards "People depend so much on automation that they forget how to get the automation to work." B.W.
December 9, 201312 yr Hello, What is 'the problem'? I today had a general problem that a friend of mine did see my ac on the fsinn radar, but not in the game. I had no problems. (no pmdg airplanes) Maikel Rozemeijer NL.
December 10, 201312 yr Commercial Member James- I think you misunderstand our guidance. We recommend not loading a PMDG airplane after a complex addon, such as any of our other products... Loading one of our airplanes after a default will always server you well. We have said this for years. What you are thinking is that we have said it IS NOT REQUIRED. (A bunch of folks got it in their heads that it was... but it isn't....) On my rig, I have the trike set up as the "default" airplane that spins around in the Free Flight window. From there I select our airplane and enter the sim. If I wanted, I could enter the sim with the trike and then select our airplane. Same end result as far as the sim is concerned. Robert S.
