Need help with a test - Bouncing aircraft alternate fix

Featured Replies

I think i have another temp fix which could help with the bouncing aircraft and allow people to keep tessellation turned on.

Very simple test.

Go to display settings and turn tessellation on then go to scenery settings and lower the texture resolution to 1m or around that amount ( you may be able to increase the setting if you get no boucing ), restart the sim and test with an aircraft you know will bounce when you taxi and fingers crossed it should stop.

I have the Carenado CT182T installed which is a real bouncer for me and it no longer bounces when i taxi or take a trip down the runway.

I have been running no tessellation and resolution at 1M for a while and it did stop my bouncing, although certain aricraft still "feel" the bumps a little more than others, it is good to go.

One thing i have found it does fix is the landing light issue when the texture resolution is set to 1m and tessellation is switched on, between 60cm and 5cm it flickers

Turning tesselation OFF fixed my bouncing issues.

Yep thats the other way of fixing the issue but for those who wish to keep tessellation on for the water effects this way could work :)
