Hello

After I check the DX10 in the fsx, black squares (trees or buildings) appears in on the ground.

What is that ?

The fact that you have FTX Global installed and some of the textures are not DX10 compatible.

The fix right now is to go back to DX9.

Ah, thanks Jim Skorna, I was about to jump aboard the DX10 ship, but no thanks, I´ll keep FTX Global!

You won't really notice those black boxes, except if you're flying really low, at least as far as I have found out.

Hi Zoho:

Do you have the free DX10 Patch 3.2.2 installed (from the Avsim library), or do you have the retail DX10 Fixer (from here)?

As SierraHotel says - this was fixed months ago - FTX Global needs to be updated, as this was an issue with the first release.

Regards,

pj

   While I'm definitely, absolutely, positively, without doubt, unquestionably - not going to help Jim Skorna stop exposing himself to comments like this, Wilailuk - you need to tread just a little more softly, as you are putting yourself at risk of a suspension or even a ban from Avsim for name-calling.

I understand your feelings, but personal attacks don't go down too well - far better to remember these little things for later time. Besides - one must consider the source, and in this case he's not worth your time nor mine. Most Avsim forum users are smart enough to read between the lines and can make their own judgment.

All the Best.

... and to clarify - it was fixed in version 1.1, Sept 5th, with John V and Steve collaborating.

Both on downloading.

I think v1.1, if not, surely in v1.2.
