What is this circle in the navigation display?

So, what's the purpose of this circle? How pilots make it appear? Does the NGX have this?

There's no picture, I do not know what you are referencing.

Amair  take  a closer  look  and you might see some thing in the middle of your screen, its the blue dotted circle the op is referring to,  and  I think its  the fix reference circle  and in the ngx its green in color its green in mine.

That's a feature on the 777, which that picture is of. The 737 doesn't have it, therefore the NGX doesn't have it. The PMDG 777 does have it though.

That is simulated, but that's not what the picture is.

What I meant by no picture was that the image, during the time of the initial posting, was not embedded in the post properly, causing it not to show. Nothing else.

They are called Energy Management Circles (ref FCOM V2 pg 10.40.18) and are controlled by the Offpath DES page (FCOM V2, pg 11.43.7) Again note that I'm talking about the 777, these do not exist in the 737.

Thx  for  that   the thing was I was on the same page, as  the fix  info is just below it, wonder how I missed it
