landing with flaps 30 or 40?
Yes, in this video, at 3:15, the captain explains (in portuguese), that Gol adopts flap 40 because of the lower risk of a tail strike... In all 737-800 of Gol fleet there is a placard on the panel saying flaps 40 is standard for landing... http://www.airliners.net/photo/Gol-Linhas-Aereas-Inteligentes/Boeing-737-8EH/2223813

landing with flaps 30 or 40?
On the 737-800, GOL uses flap 40 because of the higher risk of a tail strike with flaps 30...

737-800 SFP 27K - performance tables?
Where can I find performance tables for the 737-800 SFP (with bump 27K)? I'm lookg specifically for the 737 SFP 27K MTOW in SBRJ (which has 1320 m long runway)... Thanks!

I'm thinking of buying this video card. What do you think about the GTX 1070? Is it worth? Thanks!

NGX to Prosim
There could be some kind of cooperation between FSCaptain ACARS and PMDG...

Vintage airliners?
Great... But unfortunately only for X-Plane, not for Prepar3d..
-
Vintage airliners?
For Prepar3d, there is no B727 or B737-200 that comes even close to the level and quality of PMDG...

Vintage airliners?
After the DC-6, does PMDG plan to launch other vintage aircrafts in the coming years? My ideas are the B727 and the B737-200... I think it would be great to have a jet airliner directly from the 70's... Lots of speed, but no digital instruments, sometimes not even INS available, and lot's of failures to happen...

Speedbrake Lever in the way - Leapmotion
What good news! Oculus and similar devices are the future of flight simulation.... BTW, your pictures of the speedbrake in the RW and in the NGX are pretty clear, show clearly the position of the speedbrake in the NGX is too low... But the NGX is a "work in progress", not a finished and unchangeable product... They will launch the 2.0 somewhere in the future, hopefully after the 747 V2 and the DC-6.... So, I think they will take your observation into account...

Speedbrake Lever in the way - Leapmotion
How is the NGX "frames per second" in Oculus RIft? Is it satisfactory?

Can I install Prepar3d V3.0 and V3.2 in the same computer?
The P3D V3.0 works fine for me, but the V3.2 has some "microstutters" that mess all the experience... Can I have both installed in the same computer? Thanks

737 NGX 600/700/800/900 Engines
Gol operates CFM56-7B27 in it's 737-800 SFP fleet. Where do I find performance tables (take off field length etc) for this type of engine?

737 NGX 600/700/800/900 Engines
So, is the "bump thrust" of the CFM56-7B27 27,300 lbf? * Will an assumed temperature of 50 C on take off (in the same air conditions, of course) generate the same thrust in a CFM56-7B26 and in a CFM56-7B27?

737 NGX 600/700/800/900 Engines
All American Airlines 737-800 I have seen in this site have CFM56-7B24E engines, which are 24k: https://www.planespotters.net/production-list/search?fleet=American-Airlines&manufacturer=Boeing&subtype=737-800&p=4

737 NGX 600/700/800/900 Engines
What I see is that the most common engine type for the 737-800 SFP, at least for Gol fleet is the CFM56-7B27, which has 27,300 lbf: https://www.planespotters.net/airline/GOL-Transportes-Aereos BTW, does anyone know what is the "bump" thrust of this CFM56-7B27 and when is the "bump thrust" used?

Status of SP2?
Randazzo mentions the SP2 in this post: http://www.avsim.com/topic/460570-24jan15-fsxse-compatibility-and-other-juicy-news/ "I want to be clear that we are calling this FSX update SP1d for the NGX products, as we are not going to get to a few of the major items we intend for the SP2 update that has been discussed for some time. I'll have more information on what is included at a later time- so please don't fill the thread with individual requests/demands that we do X or Y. The stuff that gets addressed comes from our own internal matrix of development needs- and won't have any outside input..." I think they are very occupied by now, preparing the 747 V2 and the DC-6 for 3 platforms... So I guess the SP2 will only come after the release of both products...

Assign an axis for steering in P3D?
I finally managed to do it with FSUIPC... Add-ons > FSUIPC > 'Axis Assignment' Tab. Check 'Profile specific' if you want to create a specific one for the add-on you're assigning tiler to... Then for the tiler... Move the axis (of your hardware) you want to assign tiler to. Select 'Send to FS as normal axis'. Choose 'Steering Set' in the list below. Click 'OK'. Rudder pedals keep moving the steering by 78 degrees, but decreasing as speed increases... At 60 knots, rudder can't move the steering... Well, it's not perfect, but satisfactorily...

Assign an axis for steering in P3D?
I was thinking about creating an invisible front wheel in the "contact points" and assign a joystick command to it...

Assign an axis for steering in P3D?
But is there a way to make the steering tiller move only the front wheel, and not the rudder? That's how it is in the real aircraft...
