Airliners and Joysticks newbi questions

Featured Replies

I am a newbi to PREPAR V2 but a longtime simmer

Prepar 3D v2 recognizes my Saitek X-52 joystick but not my Throttle--help

I see many videos of people flying various airliners on their PREPAR program but see none listed in the available PREPAR menu--where does one find them?

Cheers and Happy New Year

There is a know problem with P3DV2.0 and some Saitek devices and LM is addressing the issues. Here is a link that shows what has been fixed for the first update and what is still being worked on: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=4373  Note that your joystick is one mentioned as being fixed.

The update is rumored to be coming out the first week in 2014 so it could be any day now!

There is a problem with ALL joystick throttles as far as I can see.

All functions on my Microsoft FFB 2 work fine, including the throttle, as does everything on my CH Eclipse yoke.

Thanks for the responses

The Saitek X-52 joystick is fixed--the Saitek Throttle is not.

The Saitek throttle is not listed under the new fixes--so it looks like no throttle control except keyboard for PREPAR 3D v2---seems strange for a product of this stature.

Would love information on where to download or buy quality airliners for Prepar.

Happy New Year to All!!!

Cheers

Hi JJ,

Thanks for the info---spad does not recognize my x-52 set up at all---gives a "panels not found" at start up.

SPAD runs  panels only - radio, multi and switch.  I think it's FSUIPC (registered) the man meant to control joysticks, throttles etc. and everything else
