Additional colours for SkyMaxx Pro

Featured Replies

There are supposed to be some extra sky colour files floating around but through the brain-fog of Monday I just can't find them. Could someone help out this gibbering fool?

i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

i dont think its for skymax but rather the software aerosoft released. it can be used by skymaxx

Search Tom Knudsen on the org or X-Pilot he has a few very nice sets.

Keep in mind you need to maintain the file structure inside the sky color folder from the silver lining plugin.  If not X-Plane will crash....

A bit off topic maybe, but since you're here...

Yesterday I flew over my area where we had a thick overcast and that was reported in the weather window of XP (could be even two layers IIRC). On the ground the feeling was enough correct, maybe too whitish clouds since the sky was really dark on real, but I can live with that, but after breaking trough the overcast layer I could almost see everything below. Is that a XP limitation or some settings in SMP I miss. I had the overcast bar maxed at right and even tried that with 100% cloud coverage in XP settings.

Weird, Ill take a look at it......can you also provide a screen shot so I can get a better idea of what you are looking at?

Also try setting your visibility settings higher from the X-Plane weather dialog since SkyMAXX is tied into that.....

Unfortunately no screen. I will take screenshots if that happens again, I'm new to XPX and SMP, just exploring the sim and settings so I forgot to take notes or save real weather metar (even not sure this is possible in XP).

Understood, not to fill a thread with SkyMAXX stuff feel free to PM me or go to X-Pilot for direct support......

I may miss your requests or observations otherwise ;) Plus we need to keep with the rules here at AVSIM.....

I am not sure about the METAR reports either......
