Saitek throttle configuration problem

Featured Replies

Hi all

just wondered if there is a way to do this or not I currently use fsuipc (registered) for setting up my controls

I have recently got a Saitek throttle quadrant which has 3 levers However I want to use it with my pmdg 747 but I have a small issue when it comes to reverse thrust.

For forward thrust its pretty straight forward in that I use one lever for no 1 and 4 eng and another lever for2 and 3 leaving me the third for spoilers using the axis option

The issue comes with reverse thrust  which is essentially a button. When I set the reverse part of the throttle the only option I can get is for one engine, I can't set it for two.

The way I set my reverse up was explained somewere on this forum as doing it this way

On the section to assign buttons on the right hand side select throttle 1 decrease have the little box ticked for repeat, and in the box below that have selected throttle 1 cut, this causes rev thrust to work perfectly for eng 1, which is great on 2 or 3 eng  aircraft as there are 3 levers  but how can I assign this button to do the same for another engine at the same time ie no4

thanks for any help

Is this a secret, or can you share with others who may also have this issue?
