January 31, 201412 yr hi, i have some bug wich might be a PMDG problem, i have no idea. while on altitude I(and the autopilot) loose all controll over the aircaft. I notice it when there are warnings on the middel display and the aircraft is decending rapidly. i then move the yoke and even see the yoke in the cockpit move and the surfaces on the outside move aswell.. but nothing happens. The aircraft is stuck and wont roll pitch or yaw. i noticed that Ezdok and Fsuipc crash aswell. I fly only PMDG aircraft and it happend to me on the T7 and MD11 so far(fly them mostly) i completly reinstalled FSX and all of the ADDONS, before the reinstall it allways happend over the atlantic. after i had everything reinstalled i could cross the atlantic with no problem and after that did a flight threw the USA without any problems. Now i fly back throw the USA from KLAX to EDDF and the same thing happend again, but this time above the border from Wyoming to South Dakota. FSUIPC is up to date I dont know what could cause this and what to do to stop it. Thanks, Ron
January 31, 201412 yr Commercial Member My first thought would be to remove the FSUIPC.ini (put it in some other location, or rename it) so that it rebuilds. That has solved all kinds of random issues like this. If that doesn't fix it, put the old one back and let us know. Kyle Rodgers
January 31, 201412 yr Author the warnings are just overspeed and altitude warnings.. stuff like that will try the ini file
February 1, 201412 yr Sounds like you may have "bought" your version from a certain "discount" store.
February 1, 201412 yr Author of course this had to happen.. -,- i have bought the T7 and i have bought the MD11 and the ngx aswell... if you cant help dont post annything!! if i would have pirated it i would know that is the problem! now to helpful people: it seems to happen at the same latitudes. before the reinstall it always happend on a latitude of about where island is(flying westbound). after the reinstall transatlantic worked fine but now it happens in the middle of the USA(flying eastbound).
February 3, 201412 yr That's weird. Now that we know you bought a clean version maybe now you will get some help. I hope you know it's an honest question that needed to be asked. I can't help you though. I've never experienced that problem before. What panel state did you start the flight in? Did you experience any failures before the problem? Does it happen with your other PMDG aircraft? What other add ons are you running with the aircraft?
February 3, 201412 yr Sounds like you may have "bought" your version from a certain "discount" store. The 'piracy protection' features on PMDG are fairly well known and do not cause this specific issue. They cause blank PFD/ND/EICAS/CDU screens after 15 seconds. Not after flying half the Atlantic. February 4, 201412 yr Author no other failures or problems at all during the flight it happend in the MD11 aswell, dont know of any other planes as i only fly PMDG on long flights. I usualy load the long ground turn state but for testing i started with the state you are in after loading the aircraft and it happend aswell. other than the PMDG T7, MD11, NGX i have some GA aircraft installed, Active sky Next, FTX Global, the Ivao client runs aswell but it also happend without it, some scenerys for airports. i now remember that i did not need to register the planes after reinstall and befor the T7 did not let me unregister the key.. but i cant imagine it noticing this mid flight and on a specific position..
February 6, 201412 yr Hmm, maybe a simconnect issue? I really have no idea. If it's happening in your MD11 too then I guess it's not really a PMDG specific issue? Maybe it's an issue with data getting lost somehow. This is why I say simconnect, but again I don't really know. Maybe if this gets bumped enough someone with good computer/fsx code skills can show up with the rescue.
February 7, 201412 yr Just a wild guess here but is crash detection enabled? I have to wonder if maybe that's effecting anything (though I doubt it). As a diagnostic measure, maybe you could try uninstalling FSUIPC altogether and seeing how a flight goes as well. Jonathan Monreal Visit A Flightsim Blog
February 9, 201412 yr Author thanks for the help guys, even PMDG support gave up on me, i reinstalled windows and install FSX right now and hope it is gone then
February 10, 201412 yr and when you do so, maybe try to not install ALL addons again. maybe one of your addons is broken and causes this. install only the scenery you need for a specific flight, install your PMDG aircraft (it wont ask for registration again, if you installed it once - as far as i remember - however, if you reinstall windows, well, you have to do it again). Maybe you should try without ezdok for a while. Tebin Ulrich
