Level D 767 no.2 engine problem

Featured Replies

So I've been flying around recently with this golden add-on, and after every landing, something strange happens- the number 2 engine shuts down by itself. I can't find a solution- the FO is disabled, there is ample fuel, I didn't press any hardware buttons..

Has anyone ever encountered/solved this issue, and if so, how?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

Kevin L

Apologies for bringing this back up again, but am I the only one to have experienced this issue?

Thanks,

Kevin L

Wish I could help you because I have flown this girl for years and never seen this issue.

Do you have failures enabled?

Hi Al, sorry for the late reply but I haven't been paying attention to this topic for a few days.

I don't have failures enabled. Strangely enough this problem always happens about a minute after landing regardless of what I'm doing. Also, the engine appears to be determined to stay off, because if I fire it up again, it'll just fail once more.

Thanks,

Kevin L

Ok so what is your procedure in that minute after landing..... everything ?  I am speculating you may have a keyboard shortcut you use that is duplicated with e2 shutdown.

Wht position is the fuel lever in ?

Peter Schluter

I agree there must be a shortcut issue going on. I have over 950 hours in Level D 767 without a similar problem
