Any way to get an updated KSQL (San Carlos, CA) AFCAD?

Featured Replies

I've searched the library but haven't found any? Does anyone know of an updated afcad/scnery file for KSQL? I'm starting my IRL PPL training there and would love to get a more accurate taxiway setup.

Thanks in advance.

It's really easy to do yourself. Google their forums for help... I believe there's also a large PDF included with the download.

Ryan - thanks for the heads up on ADE. Unfortunately, when it comes to all this computer stuff, I have two left feet. :) Here's to hoping somebody with more computer skills will find KSQL interesting.  -Meta.

to the OP maybe you are already aware of it but orbx just released their norcal scenery package and it's pretty awesome. ksql has a lot more detail than the default, a lot of the hangars and other stuff are there now. plus it adds all kind of nice details with all the mud flats and stuff that are south of that airport and around the bay. definitely worth taking a look at if you are gonna be flying around the area a lot!

cheers

I believe KSQL is on the Orbx airport "to-do" list.

I took a stab at it for you. Renamed all the taxiways to the proper letter and changed all the taxi signs. Also extended the runway with the overruns. Let me know if you catch anything weird and I'll change it.

Haskell - I am in your debt sir! ... just returned from a work trip ... will give your KSQL a shot tonight and report back.

Spesimen & Howellerman - thanks fort the heads up. No, I don't yet have Orbx NCA, but its on the list (as soon as some funds become available).

Just took it for a spin. The taxiways and signage is spot on. Thank a million Haskell!
