How to use an IFLY 737 texture to paint a 737 PMDG aircraft

Is it possible to take an IFLY 737 repaint and use it to repaint a PMDG 737?

Without having either plane I would guess it would be just as easy to start from scratch.

 

Not to mention possible copyright issues.
