Hello Everyone

Please i installed orbx Global and Australia With no problem 

After i was seduced by orbx england i went for it and i bought it , The problem is when i lunch FTX , it comes an error with It Saying Duplicated Landclass Index 14 ... i Went to Terrain.cfg file to check for any duplicate number, but i found nothing .. Any Ideas Please .. i want to apply region with ftx ; can i aplly it without FTX ?

Make sure you have the latest patches installed for FTX EU ENG, FTX AU (SP4.003 I believe) AND FTX Global (1.20). Make sure that you follow the instructions as to region settings and region activation before patching to avoid elevation issues. Then when you have all the various elements up-to-date, go ahead and install the latest FTX Libraries...

 

When you start FTX Central, there are various things you can do, such as validate the scenery.cfg, set insertion points if you need to run airport or addon scenery on top of the FTX entries...

 

Furthermore, you can enable a hybrid mode that allows you to run the FTX dedicated regions simultaneously, so never having to switch. There is apparently a small price to pay, which is highlighted over on the OrbX forum (best to search for FTX Global hybrid mode or something similar)

 

I am not sure as to why you are getting that landclass index error... I just reinstalled FSX from scratch and started with FTX AU, moving on through the American regions I have, finally to the European regions (ENG/WLS/SCO/NIR/IRL) and all the associated airports, then onto FTX Global with all the patches... never saw this error...

 

I strongly suggest you register on the offical OrbX support forum, edit your signature to include the order numbers of the packages you purchased (otherwise you will get no support, they want proof of purchase in the form of the order number from, say Flightsimstore or somewhere else) and then put your question on the respective forum...
