March 5, 201412 yr Hi all, I recently purchased Miami and Orlando Ultra Res. scenery and seem to have the same problems that Frank P reported in the Orlando thread. Both are installed on top of Florida and it looks like this: It's not only the whitish band along the coast, it's also inland. Here's another one, taken at around 1200 ft: As one can see, the scenery at 1200 ft looks pretty blurry. But when you pause your flight for some 10 to 12 seconds, the tile right below the plane clears and it looks like this: Problem is, as soon as you continue flying, the tile that had just been cleared, turns whitish and blurry again. Here's another example: And hear after pausing the flight for some 10 seconds: As one can see from the next pixture, it continues for the coverage area of Miami Ultra Res. But when I disable MSE Florida and only keep Miami Ultra Res, it looks like this: . So at least on my system, there seems to be an issue with regards the compatibility of both products. Btw, there is another, small issue. As you can see from the last photo, those small islands along the Florida coast are neither covered by MSE Florida, nor by the Miami pack, they are all default scenery. Looks a bit strange and shoudl be corrected I guess. What might be a bit more difficult to correct are the marinas. As you can also see in above picture, they all seem to be under water. Bernd Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080
March 20, 201412 yr Shame there isn't a way to merge the 2 so the non hi res cities don't actually load.
March 20, 201412 yr Did you try this post about disabling certain BGLs associated with MSE Florida when used with the high-res city scenery?
March 22, 201412 yr My feeling is that the statement that the ultra res cities work seamlessly with the lower res MSE 2.0 state packages isn't really the case. The fact that when both are enabled, anomalies show up that aren't present with just one or the other shows that to be the case. Water tends to be where these anomalies show up. The water masking seems to be a bit iffy.
