Thanks for reminding me about CoD, David. I've owned it, and ignored it, since the day it came out. Looks like it might be time to revisit it and see what Team Fusion has done. Thanks !

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Yeah they've done a stellar job at extending this game, for sure. The clouds still look like poop, but overall, VAST improvement.

I was one of the guys who purchased COD on day 1, only to realize it was unplayable on my rig. So it sat in my Steam account, uninstalled, for a very long time. I was pretty bitter about it honestly. But after building a new rig, and upgrading COD with addons, I was able to enjoy it. I haven't played it in a while, only because I've been trying to get a deeper understanding of flight through FSX and A2A's Accusim aircraft, and dabbling with VATSIM.

I JUST got my TrackIR from Amazon yesterday, so it may be time to reinstall IL2 COD  :P

But...

I am considering ditching IL-2, after many many years, for DCS. IL2 Stalingrad looks pretty good, but I think DCS may be the wiser investment, considering their future projects.

Meh, who am I kidding. I'll get both, inevitably lol.
