Using PB's built in IMG link we used to be able to put pics here from our PB accounts.

 

I always get the message "not allowed to use that extension in this community" or something similar

No, you need to look at your photo bucket usersettings/album and make sure only IMG code is ticked.

Make sure the extension is .jpg

Ok in PB when I click"get links" there's a line that says IMG that's the one I've always used.

 

Here's a direct link to what I'm using.  Is this what you guys are using?

EDIT: Ooh I just noticed something.... there's a tilde and the word "original" after the jpg - the forum things its part of the extension... this comes on every one of my links from PB - why would this be?!?

 

EDIT again:  Yep that's the problem... GRRRR - PB didn't use to compress images but apparently they do now.... So at one point I checked Link to original size or whatever the option was.... I'll have to redo all my FSX screenshot sizes to account for this - otherwise they look nasty and blurry.

 

Also I noticed my IMG link doesn't start with img. - it start's like this:

I got that by editing out the "html" parts of the link.

Here's the same image with the full link copied from Photobucket:


 

Clicking on the first gives you the full image, on the second takes you to my photobucket account.
