Changing center radio console

Featured Replies

Afternoon Gents,

Was wondering how do I change the center radio console I can change the auto pilot consol from Honeywell and back via the FMC but not the center radio consol, I've seen plenty of Youtube videos with the blue/white read outs mine is Orange and would like to change any ideas?

 Thanks.

 Steve.

You can change the color to anything you want as long at it is orange. It can't be changed.

Before one of the SPs, the center console was a different color.  After one of the SPs, it was changed to what it is currently (is it bad that I flew the NGX last night and still managed to forget which color it was?).  I forget the reason for the change, but I'm guessing you're just seeing YouTube videos from when it first came out, and it has since changed not as an option, but from an update.

ok, thanks for the replys still is an amazing plane :-)

Yep, the coloring did not represent the radio models used in the addon, originally. This was fixed later.

No, you are just good at filtering unimportant information.

haha - fair assessment.

Side note:

More evidence to my point that you can spend hundreds of hours doing something and still not know it in and out (reference to people saying "my buddy has 100,000,000 hours on [aircraft X] so he knows what he's talking about, regarding [obscure item Y]!!!).
