March 31, 201412 yr Hi,my names Aaron i've had the CS75 for some time but just recently started flying it, a friend told me that the QW was better, so i bought it, but i noticed that the QW75 doesn't have as many clickable Buttons and nobs dont have as many stages as the CS757. for example, i cant click on the window heat buttons or the the APU Gen button they just stay on the whole time. am i doing something wrong or dose the QW not have as many Buttons and nobs to click? March 31, 201412 yr The QualityWings 757 was originally released as a lite to medium product, and as such, not all the systems are simulated. Their later release of the 146 series includes more systems simulations, and the upcoming 787 and 737 Classics will have even more. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
April 1, 201412 yr Better really means that what QW implemented works pretty well. The CS product has more complexity, but also many bugs. Jim Shield Cybersecurity Specialist
April 1, 201412 yr While in the VC, press shift+2 to open up the icon section on the left side of the screen. Click on "OH" (overhead) and you should be able to access most of the controls up there. The overhead will appear as a 2D panel. When finished, press view change, then press space bar. When you change your view back to the VC from "OH", the VC view will be stuck looking up at the overhead panel. Pressing space bar will reset your VC view. Easy way to access the lights would be from the main cockpit 2D panel. The Turbine Sound Studios 757 sound pack is also a great addition if you don't mind payware sound. Nature Boy
April 1, 201412 yr I wish there were more operative systems on the QW757, but it does have some really nice features: - Has both EADI/EHSI and also "glass" PFD/ND cockpits - 200, 300, freighter all included and also other variants - Incredible sound pack. No point to buy an addon sound pack - passenger announcements customized to livery - nice paint kit and lots of liveries - excellent flight dynamics You can remove some of the simplifications by editing the qw757.cfg file, for example manual control of fuel switches, IRU alignment time, manual switching climb thrust mode etc. In SP3 you can now set transponder mode.
