February 9, 200521 yr What are you, like 12 years old. There is no age requirement for this hobby, but if you are going to make a condescending commment about someone else, than be prepared to be called out on it.jeff USAF Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD
February 9, 200521 yr we're getting off topic here, let's not. Seriously, I would highly recommend the RFP 747, if you're into systems and realism. The PMDG is in a class of it's own too, but it's a 737. And then there's the DF 727, which is a very very nice airplane but not quite as "real" as the others. That's not bad, but you can jump in and fly. With the others it takes a while to take off. Just my 2 cents...billg
February 9, 200521 yr Ill get out in 08. Then i might enlist or go on to a flight school. If you mean job in the core, im actually just a technician in the R/C club. On the drill team, and going after Tech or NCO of PT.Maj Tim Nichols is my SASI, the one from tinker that just retired, and my ASI, a previous Blue Rope TI from lackland. Chase Barnett
February 9, 200521 yr lol.. yeah.. Wasnt trying to offend you or anything. :) lets call say its over with. lol. But the RFP is nice, but i just didnt care much for the panel or VC. I do have the PMDG, and i am flying it now. Great Plane! about the best.If the original author hasnt purchased it allready, and if you like as real as it gets and complex aircraft, the PMDG is for you. Chase Barnett
February 9, 200521 yr cool. Thx Chase. I appreciate your attitude. I jumped on you pretty hard, and you jumped on me, and blah blah, who knows where it will end, hehe. Thank you. And, this is really hard to do, but I'm sorry. billg
February 9, 200521 yr haha.. sorry, i been flying the pmdg kiah-kmia.yeha man, im sorry also.. i was out of line my self.. :-wavemaybe we can get online and fly some time. Chase Barnett
February 9, 200521 yr >The model is ok, but the 2d panel and the vc is not great.I agree. And I said this last year. I actually bought the RFP 747 for FS2002. And poured over the manuals: highlighting, tagging areas and learned to start from cold and dark and shut her down. However not very nice looking interior model as you said. Your comments are accurate as far as I'm concerned. Now take a look at the interior shots of the upcoming PMDG 747 - a class above anything I've seen so far.
February 9, 200521 yr >but you just showed all of us what a beginner simmer is like.Insult because you don't like his opinion. As he showed you he's not a "beginner" and neither am I. I share his opinion on the aesthetically challenged interior of the RFP.
February 9, 200521 yr Hmmm, a somewhat 100% arrogant remark, was it not? I never really warmed up to the aircraft due to the perceived lack of atmosphere. Compared with what others produce with pictures and photoshop, this aspect of the RFP package is NOT GREAT. Functionality and systems are, but the artwork?Uwe
