I should comment here more often I know, but these pic's are outstanding.  Having been in this area on holiday (vacation) a few times, including a stay in Teluride, seeing it from the air instead of the road, shows just how stunning it is.

Thanks.

Cheers

Great shots HLJames. Interesting to see where they place cities (Shot #1). That whole landscape looks very odd with the canyon and dam etc. So many altitude levels. Wonders of mother nature!

I just bought more photoscenery (Southern California) because of you lol, plus it was on sale but its still mostly your fault...

I actually worry about that....because a single 7200rpm HDD does not have sufficient performance to load high resolution photoscenery....blurries!

The only solution to this problem is RAID.

Well I did my first flight tonight, my maximum altitude was 5k and it was a little blurry, I have Florida and its better in that area. The installer ran that auto config thing to make sure you had the best settings, I might have a look and go back to my original settings.

I'm thinking a mesh would make a nice addition to, what'd you think?

With photoscenery you can max-out image quality 32X AA, 16X AF, 9.5 LOD, no OOM, no overclocking necessary.

I use FS Global Ultimate series, it makes mountains more dynamic...100GB.

The scenes you see here are run on a 2TB RAID array measured at 340 mb/sec average.

Thanks I'll have a look today
