GSX Activated But Demo (3 trial mode airports choices) Services Choices....final solution.

Featured Replies

Hello folks

Initially....

This solution is for Win 8 users because they most common users they may face this problem. So give it a try if u have this problem with your Win 7.

-------------------------------------------------------

The problem starts after I activate my GSX, it gives me its an ACTIVE PRODUCT in the addon manager. But when I come to press the hotkey of the program (CTRL+F12) to select any service, it gives me the choices of the demo version (not my activated version which indicated in the addon manager (in fsx menu bar below the add-on section).

So I found the fix and its 100% true and work.

After u activate your copy close the FSX, and go to Fsx shortcut------> Properties-----> Compatibility and then UNCHECK run this program in compatibilty mode for....thats it simply.

I know that is very important to check that to avoid (CTD problem) surely after copying the UIAutomotionCore.dll. but i have read its not important to check this box, just copy the file in your Fsx directory and thats what happen with, no crashes (at least in win 8) (also at least to this moment)...

So hope that help the guys here.

Thx.

What do you mean by this? You said to uncheck and run compatibility mode for... For what? Lol I'm not understanding your instructions

I suppose the real question is "should compatibility mode be used"?  I've never used it, never saw any change when checking that box, nor ever read/heard what it's supposed to do.
