How fast does everyone's AI aircraft taxi to the runway? Using Traffic Viewboard I clocked my AI at a speedy 8 kts! That's far too slow. I'm sure it used to be quicker than that. Does Voxatc control the speed of the AI?

No VoxATC does not control taxi speed. FSX default is about 10 knots.

There are some small programs out there that allow you to increase the taxi speed of AI.

Google is your friend in this case

Go to..App Data,Roaming,Internal Workings,Vox ATC, go down the list and find...VASettings.xml, go down and find TaxiAirSpeed value=10.0 and change it to 17.0 or what ever you want.  Save the changes. The planes will move along at the speed you set,but will still slow down for the turns,so it looks quite realistic.

This seemed to work. I set 23 as the taxi speed but the most I saw the AI get up to was 17... maybe the taxiway was too short but at least its better than 7!

Now this is odd. After reverting back to a previous version due to stability issues Im now unable to locate VAsettings.xml to change the taxi speed

I have checked show hidden files and folders but its simply not there anymore yet Voxatc works perfect

 

any ideas?
