I have been trying this for a few days now and cant seem to get it to work right. this is the issue, I set up my sound by going into the windows tab and selecting my headphones as the default sound. I then make sure that inside the fsx sound settings i have sounds on the left hand side set to my speakers and the right side for voice i select my Logitech headphones. when i start fs2crew i select my Logitech headset under headphones then I check the HS button. now I hear the engines through my speakers but when I start the set up with the FO i hear everything through the headphones. Clicking sounds  when he says hes going to go out to check on things outside i hear all the fs2crew ambient noises including the person that comes in and asks if the can load the plane. These are sounds that I should not be hearing in my headphones. What am I doing wrong?

 

 

I think I have found the issue. If I do not use radar contact then everything works fine with the sound on fs2crew. The FO is heard outside until its time to put on the headset and all the ambient sound is where it needs to be. But if i use radar contact in this configuration I do not hear it radar contact on my headphones. I then need to turn my default sound to my headphones which messes up the sound for the fs2crew. Is there a workaround for this? I cant believe that I can not set the sound for radar contact as I can for fs2crew.

I've never heard of this specific issue before.

 

You might want to ask the Radar Contact developer what's he's doing with the audio devices.

 

I don't have Radar Contact so there's not much I can say.
